Dhampus Peak

Dhampus Peak climbing is popular climbing Peak in Nepal in Dhaulagiri region.Dhampus Peak 6012m famouse trekking Peak in
that Dhaulagiri and Annapurna region.Dhampus peak is known as Thapa peak located north east of  frist Mount Dhaulagiri Massif view of Annapurna region,Dhaulagiri region and Mount Nilgiri.
Around Dhaulagiri (White Mountain) is a challenging trek around the Dhaulagiri massif (8167m), the seventh highest mountain in the world. Dhaulagiri is a long trek that goes far beyond the normal haunts of trekkers and tourists, to remote areas of the country where the landscapes are wild and untamed and where the local inhabitants have seen little change in their way of life for centuries- untouched corners of an increasingly crowded planet. It is physically challenging, likely to include unfavorable weather conditions and strenuous activities, such as, climbing/ scrambling across high passes. Trekking in this area is relatively strenuous and requires some mountaineering knowledge.

The trek start from Beni, after long day drive from Kathmandu, going through nice villages at the start and then through high and remote areas. The trail crosses Myagdi Glacier, then into the Dhaulagiri Himal to the Italian Base Camp and Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4750m), French pass (5360m) providing excellent views of Putali Himal and Tukuche Peak, the highest point of the trek. Then on towards hidden snowy valleys and the Thapa or Dhampus pass. Along the way, there are wonderful views of gigantic face of Dhaulagiri and of the Annapurna range.
