  • Day 1 Ariive in Kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel.
  • You will be met at the airport by our Him Ganga Treks representative and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Rest at the hotel and briefing about the trip. There should be time to explore the city’s many charms on your own too. Overnight (O/N) in Kathmandu (breakfast included).

  • Day 2 Fly to Tumlingtar and drive on a jeep to the spectacularly located village of Num (1,500m).

  • Day 3 Trek to Seduwa trek down to the Arun River. Cross it and ascend via Runruma to the village of Sedua (1,493m).

  • Day 4 Trek to Tashi gaon a shorter day, trekking through terraced fields and contouring around to (2,057m).

  • Day 5 Trek to Kauma KharkaTrek through cloud forest and more open country to the ridge-top pasture (3,500m).

  • Day 6 Trek to Dobato Cross the Shipton La (4,229m) with views of Kangchenjunga and Makalu.(3,700m).

  • Day 7 Trek to Yangri Kharka descend to the Barun River and follow this upstream to the grazing area.(3,620m).

  • Day 8 Trek to Langmale Kharka continue up the valley of the upper Barun River to the grazing area(4,400m).

  • Day 14 Trek to Num descend to the Arun River and trek steeply back up to Num. A veritable ‘sting in the tail’.

  • Day 15 Trek to Tumlingtar a long and scenic day of driving back along the ridge via Chichila to Tumlingtar.

  • Day 16 Fly to Kathmandu. Free time in the afternoon and celebratory dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Day 17 Free day for buying suvenir.
  • Free time to discover the capital and its surroundings. The guide stays with the group (but can not divide if everyone goes on his side …). We recommend the Bodnath stupa early in the morning (to enjoy the pilgrims’ ambience), as well as visits to the ancient royal cities of Bhaktapur (a true living museum of the valley) and Patan . Capitals of small kingdoms in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, both cities are renowned for their beautiful Newar-style architecture with beautifully carved brick and wooden temples and their multi-storey pagoda roofs.

  • Day 18 Depature international flight.
  • Free morning in Kathmandu . Like the day before, the guide stays with the group to help you, if you want to make visits in the valley. Depending on the schedule of the flight back , we still take a little time to hang out in the afternoon or we leave directly for the airport to take our flight home.
